Otter.ai is one of the most widely used transcription tools for a straightforward reason: it is reliable and easy to set up. The professional concern is governance — for client-sensitive meetings, the data routing and storage architecture is not at the level that professional services firms should be relying on without independent review. The Teams Premium alternative resolves this within the M365 environment that most agencies already operate in. My recommendation is to migrate professional meeting recording to Teams Premium and keep Otter for informal, personal, low-stakes notes if you are already using it.
